He then completed prestigious fellowships in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Arizona Centre for Plastic Surgery and in general cosmetic surgery at Tulsa Surgical Arts, where he refined his skills and performed over 1,300 cosmetic procedures, perfecting advanced techniques in eyelid surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. Today, Dr. Heringer has successfully performed over 10,000 surgeries, further solidifying his reputation as one of the foremost experts in the field.

Dr. Heringer also has a unique background in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery from his time serving war veterans at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. During his time at the VA, he performed a range of advanced reconstructive surgeries to improve the function and appearance of injured veterans, gaining invaluable experience and insight into complex surgical procedures.
